Job summary

The Swiftest, Inc. is seeking a remote Pet Content Editor to scale our published content.

You’ll help manage the editorial production calendar, fact-check articles, and collaborate with writers, freelancers, and subject-matter experts to ensure accuracy and quality. You’ll work with SEO, marketing, product, and partnerships teams to maintain tone, formatting, and disclosure standards, while using AI-assisted workflows responsibly and ensuring content meets high trust standards for insurance and

• Demonstrated ability to edit and manage editorial content for digital platforms.
• Experience maintaining tone, formatting, and disclosure standards.
• Familiarity with SEO and content operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help manage the editorial production calendar.
• Fact-check content for accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with writers, editors, freelancers, and subject matter experts.
• Ensure articles are published accurately, on time, and to high quality.
• Follow editorial workflows, SOPs, QA systems, and publishing processes.
• Assist with large-scale content updates and refresh projects.
• Coordinate with SEO, marketing, product, and partnerships teams.
• Maintain editorial consistency and compliance standards.
• Use AI-assisted editorial systems responsibly.
• Maintain E-E-A-T and consumer trust standards.
• Maintain editorial standards for insurance and financial content.
• Experience assisting editorial operations for digital publishers, affiliate sites, SaaS, or comparison sites.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop editorial, SEO, and content operations skills.
• Understanding of SEO, LLMs, and search-driven content.
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.

We’re building a world-class content engine behind the business, and we’re looking for a Pet Content Editor to scale our published content.

What You’ll Do
