Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospitals in Mount Juliet, TN seeks a Pet Care Assistant to support the veterinary team, prepare examination rooms, and assist with in-house tests and patient comfort. Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform radiography (x-ray) duties.
• One year related experience preferred with customer service.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Prepare the treatment room for examination and set up medical items for veterinarians.
• Serve as support to the Client Services Coordinator, Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Technician.
• Hold or restrain pets during examination or inoculation.
• Prepare routine in-house laboratory tests as allowed by state rules.
