Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Store Shift Supervisor in East Amherst, NY, to lead daily operations and deliver outstanding neighborly service to customers and their pets.

You will partner with store leaders to reinforce PSP standards, provide coverage, and support team development while maintaining a safe and clean environment. This role requires strong communication and a passion for pets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience required.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to operate all equipment, including a forklift, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting products and provide neighborly service.
• Greet regular customers and engage with pets and their owners.
• Lead by example and reinforce store procedures and performance expectations.
• Support store leaders with daily operations and team development.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and training of new team members.
