Job summary

Gateway Services Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Representative/Route Service Representative to be the primary liaison with veterinary clinics and pet parents. The role requires handling pets with dignity, accurate route execution, and high accountability in a fast-paced, non-desk environment.

You’ll build clinic relationships, perform pickups and deliveries on an assigned route, and support the Care Center with accurate documentation and compassionate service. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service, route-based experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfortable using mobile technology and CRM systems.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned veterinary clinics, maintain strong professional relationships.
• Retrieve deceased pets respectfully, often from chest freezers.
• Scan pets at pickup and delivery; verify names and IDs.
• Document requests and complete follow-through.
• Interact with pet parents with compassion and professionalism.
• Unload and rehome pets at Care Center; ensure proper handoff.
• Maintain vehicle, equipment, and uniform cleanliness.
