Pet Supplies Plus in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Retail Pet Store Associate – Customer Service and Pet Care. You’ll greet neighbors, help pet parents select foods, stock shelves, run the POS, and promote store offers.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to lift, stock, and stay on your feet for extended periods.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet neighbors with a friendly, pawsitively passionate attitude.
• Help a new puppy parent pick the right food—or help a regular find exactly what they always forget the name of.
• Make thoughtful product recommendations based on each pet’s needs.
• Operate the POS system, process transactions, and handle returns.
• Promote store specials, loyalty programs, and current offers.
• Stock shelves, manage inventory, and keep displays organized.
• Lift and stock bags of pet food and supplies (yes, some of them are heavy).
• Assist pet parents with self-wash stations and explain the process.
• Restock bathing supplies and keep the store clean and welcoming.
• Provide occasional services like walk-in nail trims (training provided).
