You will weigh and feed animals, clean cages, assist with examinations, and maintain accurate records to support veterinarians.

Qualifications

• Prior pet care experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule; weekends, holidays and school breaks.
• Computer skills are required.
• Physically and mentally able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork in stressful situations.
• Must be able to restrain and lift pets up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Feed, groom and weigh animals.
• Clean cages and kennels, and bathe animals.
• Clean examination tables and rooms and maintain medical equipment.
• Provide proper restraint of patients during non-surgical procedures.
• Administer medications as prescribed by Veterinarians.
• Observe animal behavior or health condition and report to the Veterinarian.
• Keep accurate records and logs
