PetVet Care Centers' Loving Hands Animal Clinic & Pet Resort in Alpharetta, GA is hiring a Full Time Kennel Assistant (Rotating Shifts). The role supports veterinarians and technicians by cleaning, feeding, exercising, restraining and handling pets in a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities include caring for pets, recording intake details, monitoring health signs, and maintaining cleanliness. The position requires 18+, HS diploma or GED, and ability to lift 50 lbs in a loud environment;

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to transport themselves.
• Lift 50 lbs, work in loud environment.
• Experience with animals preferred.
• Willing to get dirty.

Responsibilities

• Provides compassionate care to pets as directed by veterinarians and technicians.
• Feeds animals as prescribed; records appetites and water intake.
• Monitors pets for distress or illness and reports concerns.
• Assists veterinarians and technicians with pet restraint.
• Maintains cleanliness of hospital and cages; handles chemicals safely.
• Performs regular cleaning and sanitizing of kennels, runs, and wards.
• Prioritizes tasks and completes weekly/monthly chores for cleanliness.
• Maintains kennel and hospital laundry; provides clean bedding.
• Walks and exercises patients; follows written and oral directions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Manager.
