Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a full-time Receptionist to support the front desk of a busy pet care facility in Salem, OR. The role is 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Tuesday–Saturday, with a pay range of $17.00–$19.00 per hour DOE.

You will be the first point of contact for clients, handle payments, schedule appointments, and help keep daily operations running smoothly in a facility caring for 35–40 dogs daily.

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist, front desk, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable learning new software and navigating a detailed scheduling system.
• Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working around dogs throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients with questions.
• Schedule appointments using a detailed internal scheduling system.
• Coordinate future physical therapy appointments for pets.
• Process payments and maintain accurate transactions.
• Wash, fold, and manage laundry to help maintain a clean facility.
• Greet clients and provide outstanding customer service.
• Support daily front desk and administrative operations.
