Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking Team Members to provide legendary customer service while supporting selling initiatives. No prior retail experience is required, but pet/live animal knowledge is preferred.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with basic reading, writing and counting skills essential. Team Members will handle cash, merchandise, live animals, and store duties; must be adaptable, dependable, and able to work varied hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail and/or pet/live animal knowledge is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; reading, writing and counting skills required.
• Must read, write and count accurately regardless of education level.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Stock and merchandise recovery; assist with freight and plan-o-gram duties.
• Assemble merchandise and perform store maintenance tasks.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and facilitating safe animal handling.
• Maintain safety and well-being of live animals, including feeding and care as required.
• Complete documentation for duties and be flexible for other assigned tasks.
