Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply in Texas is seeking a Team Member to deliver legendary customer service while supporting selling initiatives and store tasks. You will operate the cash register, recover merchandise, and help with freight and merchandising plans, while also assisting customers with loading purchases and caring for live animals.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required. Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Recover merchandise and participate in freight processes.
• Execute plan-o-gram procedures (merchandising, sets, and resets).
• Assemble merchandise and perform loading for customers.
• Perform janitorial duties and maintain store cleanliness.
• Execute price changes/markdowns.
• Assist customers with loading purchases.
• Ensure safety and well-being of live animals and care for their habitat.
• Complete all documentation associated with any of the above duties.
• Team Members may be assigned other duties as needed.
