Job summary

JustFoodForDogs in Tustin, CA is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to be the primary contact for pet parents, answering questions, resolving issues, and guiding them on our products and services. This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Customer Service Supervisor and requires a friendly, organized approach with a focus on delivering positive customer experiences.

You will handle phone and email inquiries, process orders and returns, document interactions in our CRM, and stay informed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience in a call center, retail, hospitality, or similar environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working across multiple systems and communication channels.
• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Support pet parents through phone and email.
• Answer questions about products, orders, subscriptions, shipping, and account information.
• Resolve customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Process orders, refunds, exchanges, and account updates.
• Troubleshoot issues and partner with internal teams when additional support is needed.
• Document customer interactions accurately in our CRM system.
• Stay up to date on products, promotions, and company initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to recommend products that best support a pet's needs.
• Follow up with customers when needed to ensure a positive experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
