Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking a Team Member to engage customers, support selling initiatives, and perform assigned tasks while delivering legendary customer service. The role requires flexibility in hours and a focus on safe handling of live animals.

The position emphasizes cash handling, merchandising, and customer assistance, with duties extending to upkeep and safety of live animals and their habitats, as well as completing necessary paperwork and tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Recovery of merchandise and participate in freight process.
• Execute plan-o-gram procedures, merchandising and resets.
• Assemble merchandise and perform loading assistance to customers.
• Maintain live animals' food, bedding, and habitats.
• Complete all required documentation.
