Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running a high-performing Pet Care Center.

You will lead partners on the sales floor, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and adherence to Petco’s pet care standards. Responsibilities include hiring, onboarding and training, coaching to improve performance, maintaining store standards, and assisting with inventory, merchandising and promotional events.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience with supervisory or management duties.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Passion for animals and pet care knowledge preferred.
