Banfield Pet Hospital in Saint Augustine, FL is seeking a Pet Care Assistant to join our veterinary team. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist during examinations, and help deliver high-quality care in a compassionate, client-focused environment.

You will educate clients on preventive care, assist with in-house labs, and support the veterinary team to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent experiences for pets and their families.

Qualifications

Ability to multi-task and manage several tasks at once.
Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational discipline to keep chaos in order and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

Prepare the treatment room and supplies for examinations.
Provide client education on preventive care and wellness plans.
Hold or restrain pets during examination, treatment, or inoculation.
Prepare in-house laboratory tests as allowed by state rules.
Monitor and support hospitalized patients for comfort and care.
