Pet Paradise is seeking a Pet Bather to care for our four-legged friends in a pet-friendly environment. The role includes bathing, nail trims support, and calming pets during grooming sessions, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle a variety of animals safely and comfortably; prior animal handling experience highly preferred
• Must have the physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift or move heavy pets or objects from time to time
• Ability to calmly handle and bathe pets that may be scared or show hesitation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail
• Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak times

Responsibilities

• Assist the grooming department with baths prior to scheduled grooms
• Provide "go-home" baths as requested by clients or management
• May perform nail trims, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears as trained
• Secure and reassure the pets to ensure safety and comfort
• Keep bathing stations clean and tools ready for next use
• Ask for assistance if a pet shows unusual stress
• Perform other duties as assigned
