Job summary

Pet Paradise is seeking a Pet Bather who is passionate about animals and committed to providing caring grooming services for our four-legged friends.

Starting rate is $14.00 per hour, with a $0.50 increase at 6 months from hire date and an additional $0.50 increase on the annual anniversary date. Our team enjoys extensive advancement opportunities, training programs, and convenient perks that support both personal and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle a variety of animals safely and confidently.
• Must have physical strength and stamina to lift or move heavy pets.
• Ability to calmly handle and bathe pets that may be scared or hesitant.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.

Responsibilities

• Assist grooming with baths prior to scheduled grooms.
• Provide go-home baths as requested by clients or management.
• May perform nail trims, brushing teeth, and ear cleaning as trained.
• Secure and reassure pets for safety and comfort.
• Keep bathing stations clean and ready for next use.
• Ask for assistance if a pet shows unusual stress.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
