Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a laboratory Analyst to perform standardized chemical analyses in a Billings, MT lab setting. You will prepare samples, maintain QA/QC records, and ensure data integrity while following established SOPs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field, GLP familiarity, and strong MS Office skills. You will collaborate with teammates on safety, training, and documentation across routine lab duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or related field.
• Experience with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and database tools.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; teamwork and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing using standardized methods and SOPs.
• Document analyses per QA/QC, logbooks, and electronic records.
• Interpret results with reference data and site characteristics.
• Maintain QA/QC systems, standards traceability, and method performance records.
• Prepare reagents and standards per SOPs.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and advise on safety matters.
• Mentor team members and support cross-training.
• Assist in other lab areas and routine duties.
• Support resource allocation for efficiency and profitability.
