Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific field with 2–4+ years of experience required.
• Master's degree or equivalent with 1+ years experience required.
• Ph.D. or equivalent with 0+ years experience required; significant work experience may substitute education.

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine analyses in compliance with methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepares reagents, solutions, and QC samples as needed.
• Documents work properly; maintains study documentation and laboratory records.
• Operates laboratory equipment appropriate for assigned tasks.
• Learns to apply advanced technologies (mass spectrometry, robotics, and automation) as directed.
• Provides input and participates in project meetings.
• Recognizes deviations from normal results and informs management of issues that may affect data integrity.
• Performs routine instrument functions for bioanalytical analysis and creates accurate sequence files.
• Plans daily workload and schedules multiple assignments.
• Performs initial reviews of analytical data for calibration, controls, chromatography, and quantitative limits.
• Provides daily updates for analytical runs to PAI/Management.
• Learns to identify problems and implement solutions.
• Learns to perform method validation of various analytes.
