Job summary

Orkin is hiring a field-based technician to inspect and install pest and home protection systems, perform attic and crawlspace services, and conduct light carpentry work. You will communicate with customers and keep equipment maintained with handheld reporting tools.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, a valid license, and the ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days with company-paid training. Training is paid, and a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.
• Must wear PPE, including an OSHA‑compliant respirator, as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
