Job summary

Orkin is seeking motivated individuals for a hands-on pest control technician role. You will inspect and install pest protection systems as part of a collaborative crew, with opportunities to perform attic work, encapsulation, and light carpentry.

No prior pest control experience is required as Orkin offers paid training to get you up to speed. A company vehicle, tools, and a mobile device are provided to support fieldwork and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with construction, roofing, or home improvement is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days (training provided).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in attics or crawlspaces.
• Must wear PPE including OSHA-compliant respirator as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Collaborate with a crew of technicians to complete jobs.
• Perform attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Perform light carpentry work as needed.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain equipment and complete reports on handheld device.
