Job summary

Orkin is hiring for a field Technician role focused on inspecting and installing pest and home-protection systems. You will work as part of a technician crew to complete attic/crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation, with light carpentry tasks as needed.

High-quality customer service, reliable work ethic, and ability to operate in varying weather conditions are essential. A state pesticide license can be earned with company-supported training; a driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions, confined spaces, and on roofs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Work collaboratively on a crew of technicians to complete a job.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Perform light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
