Responsibilities
The Orkin Pro commits to providing the highest level of protection and service to customers on a designated service route. Their career begins with in-depth, award-winning training that prepares them with the skills needed to succeed in daily route operations, scheduling, issue diagnosis, and treatment planning. With each customer, Orkin Pros work to understand problems and resolve them effectively.
You will...
- Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
- Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location
- Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
- Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
- Serve as a problem solver for each customer with empathy by listening and understanding their needs, and utilizing Orkin Pro expertise to recommend the most efficient and innovative solutions
- Meet with customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services for pest management peace of mind
- Inspect the interior and exterior of properties—training provided!
- Communicate with customers about actions taken, ensuring satisfaction and discussing additional services
- Complete all service-related documentation accurately using a handheld device

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- No Experience Required—training provided to become a Pro!
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid)
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage route-based tasks, and interact with customers at their businesses or homes
Work Environment
Candidates must meet physical requirements and perform duties safely with or without accommodations:
- Use a ladder within weight capacity safely
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Wear PPE, sometimes requiring OSHA-compliant respirators
- Work in various weather conditions
