Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee in Santa Monica, CA. You’ll participate in a five-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques, while establishing relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice.

You will gain certifications and licensing as mandated, with a focus on protecting public health and facilities. This role requires night shifts and potential travel for training, offering opportunities in service,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
• Availability to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends as needed.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must obtain pest certification and/or business licensing pursuant to state/local law.
• Background check required after offer.
• Drug test including THC required for all offers.
• Immigration sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain field-based service delivering pest elimination solutions.
• Establish relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice.
• Document pest issues using handheld equipment.
• Deliver timely, cost-effective service under supervision.
• Learn and apply Ecolab products and services to protect facilities and brands.
