Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee to join our team in Provo, UT. As a Pest Control Technician Trainee, you'll be at the forefront of protecting public health and commercial businesses by delivering science-based pest elimination solutions and gaining industry-leading training.

Through our paid training program, you'll learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques, obtain required licensing, and build a long-term career in service, sales, or management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
• Availability to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Obtaining pest certification and/or business licensing per state/local law.
• Background check conducted for all offers.
• Drug test including THC required for all offers.

Responsibilities

• Learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques through a paid training program.
• Develop relationships with commercial customers, including hospitality and foodservice.
• Identify and solve pest elimination needs in partnership with customers.
• Remain knowledgeable about Ecolab's products and services to enhance service and sales.
• Document issues using handheld equipment and deliver timely, high-quality service under supervision.
• Obtain required pest control licensing and/or certification as mandated.
