Job summary

Orkin is seeking an Service Technician to protect customers on designated routes, with award-winning training and a path to growth. The role starts with comprehensive training and emphasizes safety, professionalism, and integrity on every visit to homes and businesses.

You will operate a company vehicle on a scheduled route, document actions in a handheld device, and discuss additional services to provide peace of mind against pests.

Qualifications

• Experience in the service or skilled trades industries is preferred.
• Experience in a professional driving/route management role is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the pesticide license within 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work independently on field route assignments and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely and professionally protect customers on assigned service routes.
• Complete required training to perform route operations and inspections.
• Explain actions taken to customers and discuss additional services.
• Maintain daily route schedules and document work in a handheld device.
• Ensure safety and customer satisfaction at every visit.
