Job summary

Orkin is hiring a Pest Control Technician (Maintenance) to protect homes and businesses on a designated service route. As an Orkin Pro, youll receive award-winning training, strong support, and the tools needed to succeed, with no prior pest control experience required.

Qualifications

• No Experience Required we will train you to be a Pro!
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with our great customers inside their businesses and/or homes

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customers location.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Meet with customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services that would give them peace of mind about their pest management.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer's property and learn how we train you.
• Communicate with customers to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services that would give them peace of mind about their pest management program.
• Complete all required service-related documentation in a handheld device provided for speed and accuracy
