Job summary

Moxie Pest Control in Columbus, OH is seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to manage residential and commercial pest services. You will apply pest management techniques, operate tools safely, and deliver excellent customer service.

You’ll work independently on a 3 days on/4 days off schedule with long shifts starting at 6 am, visit multiple sites, record treatments, and drive company vehicles. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks are required; training is

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with farm machinery, power tools, hand tools, and landscape maintenance is a plus.
• Strong sales skills to effectively communicate service offerings to clients.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Must be able to pass background checks as part of the hiring process.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may include lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and assess the extent of infestations.
• Develop and implement effective pest control strategies tailored to each client's needs.
• Apply pesticides and other treatments in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Utilize power tools, and hand tools as necessary for pest control tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatments applied and follow-up actions required.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and educating them on pest prevention methods.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
