Job summary

Moxie Pest Control is seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our Columbus team. You will manage pest control services for residential and commercial properties, applying knowledge of pest management techniques and safety practices.

You will work independently, deliver exceptional customer service, and operate power and hand tools to carry out treatments. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in pest control or related field preferred; training provided.
• Familiarity with power and hand tools and landscape maintenance is a plus.
• Strong sales skills to communicate services to clients.
• Ability to work independently with high quality standards.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; pass background checks.
• Physical ability for lifting, bending, standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties to identify pest issues and infestation extent.
• Develop and implement tailored pest control strategies.
• Apply pesticides following safety regulations.
• Use power and hand tools as needed.
• Keep accurate service records and follow-up actions.
• Educate clients on prevention and excellent service.
• Collaborate with team to improve efficiency.
• Drive company vehicles to job sites following safety rules.
