Qualifications

In the role of Pest Control Technician, you serve as the primary representative for our organization, delivering high-quality service to our clientele. Your daily focus will involve identifying and resolving current pest issues while suggesting preventative measures to safeguard properties. By managing your assigned route, you will foster lasting client connections and provide essential protection for local homes and commercial establishments.

Core Responsibilities and Expectations

• Understand the behaviors and characteristics of various rodents, insects, and common vermin.
• Maintain a deep understanding of pest management treatments, industry regulations, and safety protocols to ensure effective service delivery.
• Demonstrate the ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
• Navigate diverse physical environments, including climbing ladders, ascending stairs, and accessing crawl spaces or rooftops.
• Utilize all necessary personal protective equipment to ensure your own safety during service calls.
• Perform detailed visual assessments to detect pest activity and potential entry points.
• Work comfortably in various environmental settings, such as dusty areas, damp basements, or changing seasonal weather conditions.
• Adhere strictly to all corporate guidelines and operational procedures established by JP McHale Pest Management.
• Support a culture of safety by consistently following OSHA and FIFRA regulatory standards during all treatments.
• Ensure the company vehicle is maintained according to DOT standards to promote safe transportation practices.
• Execute all scheduled service appointments and provide comprehensive documentation for every visit.
• Ensure all administrative reporting is precise, legible, and submitted within established deadlines.
• Respond promptly to client concerns to help resolve active pest issues and prevent future infestations.
• Maintain the physical stamina required to perform tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds, bending, kneeling, and walking throughout the day.
