Job summary

PestCo in Midland, TX is seeking a full-time pest route technician to manage daily route operations, perform inspections and treatments, and tailor pest solutions to each customer's needs.

No experience? Paid training is provided. You will work Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays, operate company vehicle, and advance licenses with on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills in person, written and verbal.
• Good customer service and presentation abilities.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and kneel/bend as needed.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Pest control license or prior pest control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day pest route operations.
• Perform pest inspections and treatments.
• Provide estimates for one-time treatments and ongoing maintenance.
• Complete scheduled customer appointments per policies and local rules.
• Act as subject matter expert to implement effective pest solutions.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain appearance and equipment, including vehicle and PPE.
• Dedicate full attention during working hours as directed by supervisor.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (Some Saturdays Required)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day to day pest route operations
• Perform pest inspections and treatments.
• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature, etc.
• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.
• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Pest Control experience or Pest Control License (Preferred but no required)
