Job summary

PestCo is seeking a full-time Pest Control Technician in New London, IA to service residential and commercial customers. You will assess pest issues, recommend treatments, perform applications, and maintain equipment and safety standards. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

No experience? Paid training and extensive on-the-job development are provided. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required. Growth opportunities across multiple units exist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills through verbal, written and in person.
• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and kneel/bend as needed.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Self-motivated and results driven.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and ongoing maintenance.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time per policies and regulations.
• Serve as subject matter expert for customers by recommending the best pest solution.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain professional appearance and equipment including vehicle, PPE, paperwork, and literature.
• Focus on duties during working hours as directed by supervisor and company.

Key Responsibilities

• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.
• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Pest Control experience or Pest Control License (Preferred but no required)
