Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a Pest Control Technician to service Monroe, NY area. This full-time role reports to the Hawthorne, NY office weekly and involves running a daily route, applying treatments, and maintaining equipment and records while complying with regulations.

We offer $20.75–$23.75/hour, uncapped bonuses, an annual incentive trip, a company iPhone, and a local-route opportunity. Training is provided; a valid US driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Valid US driver’s license (minimum of 3 years).
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two in the past 4 years).
• Drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and handle pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for pest solutions per customer needs.
• Maintain and service all route customers per company standards.
• Advise customers of potential problems and keep management informed.
• Maintain inventory of pesticides in use.
• Route assigned to local area; back-pack ~50 lbs.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Monroe NY. This position will report to our office in Hawthorne, NY once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment, and excels working at an individual level.

Responsibilities Include

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday

Qualifications
