Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a hard-working, detail-oriented Pest Control Technician to join our field team in the Hawthorne, NY area. You will run a daily route, resolve customer pest concerns, and maintain truck and equipment while following safety regulations.

This full-time role offers paid training, a company vehicle for local use, health benefits, 401(k) with company match, and opportunities for advancement. You will report weekly to the Hawthorne office and work every other Saturday.

Qualifications

• US drivers license valid for at least 3 years.
• Clean driving record; limits on moving violations.
• Drug test and background check will be performed for all new hires.
• No experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route to resolve customer pest concerns.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix and apply pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject matter expert to tailor pest solutions for each customer.
• Maintain inventory of pesticides and service all route customers.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs.

We are seeking a hard‑working, innovative, detail‑oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full‑time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Hawthorne, NY. This position will report to our office in Hawthorne, NY once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment, and excels working at an individual level.

Responsibilities

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday

Qualifications

• A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires
