Job summary

PestCo LLC is seeking a dedicated Pest Control Service Technician for the New London, IA area. You will assess and apply pest remediation and prevention solutions for residential and commercial properties, and prepare estimates for one-time treatments and ongoing maintenance.

This full-time role features a Monday-Friday schedule, requires a High School diploma, valid driver’s license, and strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills in verbal, written and in person.
• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and kneel/bend as necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Valid Driver's license with a good driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Pest Control experience or Pest Control License (Preferred but no required).

Responsibilities

• Provide pest remediation and prevention solutions for commercial or residential structures.
• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and ongoing maintenance to customers.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with company policies and local rules and regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing effective pest solutions for individual needs.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain professional appearance and equipment including vehicle, PPE, paperwork, and literature.
• Devote full attention to duties as directed by supervisor and company.

Key Responsibilities:

A Pest Control Service Technician is responsible for providing pest remediation and prevention solutions to commercial or residential structures. Duties include, without limitation:

• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.
• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.
