Job summary

Orkin is hiring in Indianapolis for a field service professional to service customers on your daily route and provide pest protection. You will inspect properties, identify issues, and communicate straightforward solutions with empathy.

Paid training from day one and no prior pest control experience required. The role offers growth into leadership or management and a company vehicle for commuting and field work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
• Use a ladder safely within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA‑compliant respirator.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers professionally on your daily route and provide top‑tier pest protection.
• Inspect properties and identify pest issues, training provided.
• Communicate solutions clearly and empathetically to customers.
• Recommend additional services that bring peace of mind.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment safely.
