Job summary

Orkin in Kentucky is seeking a Pest Control Technician to join our award-winning team. You will begin with comprehensive training and service daily routes to protect homes and businesses from pests.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: High School Diploma and ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Serve customers professionally on daily route and provide pest protection.
• Inspect properties and identify pest issues; training provided.
• Communicate solutions clearly and empathetically to customers.
• Recommend additional services for peace of mind.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment safely.
• Complete reports and documentation on a handheld device.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Use a ladder safely within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator.
