Job summary

Orkin is hiring dedicated professionals in Indiana to protect homes and businesses from pests. You’ll receive comprehensive training from day one and have opportunities to grow into leadership roles. The role emphasizes customer service, field inspections, and clear communication of pest control solutions.

You’ll operate company vehicles, use a handheld device for reporting, and work in various weather conditions while contributing to a stable, recession-resistant career.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain the pesticide license within the first 90 days (company paid).
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Wear PPE including respirator as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pest protection and serve customers professionally on daily route.
• Inspect properties and identify pest issues; training provided.
• Communicate solutions clearly and empathetically to customers.
• Recommend additional services for peace of mind.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment safely.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Use a ladder safely within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator.
