Job summary

Western Exterminator Company is seeking an Innovation/Utility Specialist to perform pest control, exclusion services, and TAP insulation installation. The role involves working in residential and commercial settings, with emphasis on safety, customer communication, and efficient job-site management.

You will participate in training, stay current on industry trends, and contribute to community service while supporting a range of pest-control and insulation projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide; follow product-label instructions.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pest control inspections and services for residential and commercial clients; install termite control systems.
• TAP insulation installation with quality service and site prep/cleanup.
• Assist with light construction and repairs related to pest damage.
• Communicate with customers to explain services and pest-control guidance.
• Perform exclusion services and wildlife removal; follow safety protocols.
• Stay updated on industry trends and participate in training.
