Job summary

NC State University is seeking a Pest Control Supervisor to lead and support Pest Control Technicians, overseeing pest and wildlife management across university facilities. The role requires leadership in a fast-paced campus environment and dedicated experience in pest control and safety protocols.

The incumbent will manage daily operations, implement IPM updates, and coordinate with university experts and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in pest control leadership and wildlife response protocols.
• Supervisory experience overseeing technicians and coordinating training.
• Knowledge of pesticides, IPM procedures, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise two technicians, approve timesheets, and manage attendance.
• Coordinate staff training and certifications to ensure readiness.
• Update Integrated Pest Management procedures to align with campus standards.
• Drive service expansion and improve campus-wide pest control response capabilities.
• Facilitate partnerships with entomology experts and external contractors.
• Ensure EPA compliance and adherence to all pesticide label directions.
