Job summary

Orkin in the United States (Georgia – Lawrenceville) is hiring as an Orkin Pro to join a trusted pest-control team. You’ll train on award-winning programs and handle home or business service routes with safety and integrity at the forefront.

No industry experience is required; you’ll receive comprehensive training and a pathway to growth, along with a competitive pay rate starting at $20 per hour and a benefits package that includes medical/dental/vision and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• No Experience required; training provided.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within first 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning company paid training and learn the skills required to be responsible for the daily operation of a pest control service route to become a Pro
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
• Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer
• Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
• Serve as a problem solver for each customer with empathy by listening to and understanding their needs and utilizing Orkin Pro expertise to recommend the most efficient and innovative solution
• Prepare and install home or business services to include, but not limited to, attic remediations, crawlspace encapsulations, gutter protection, and radiant heat barrier for energy efficiency
• Interact with customers in their home or business by setting project expectations and walking them through the process to ensure satisfaction
• Complete all required service-related documentation and leverage your hand-held device provided for speed and accuracy
