Orkin invites you to join our team as a Comml Pest Control Tech – We’ll Train You to Be the Best in Pest! (Maintenance). You will start with award-winning training and a clearly defined path to becoming a skilled Orkin Pro.

A strong emphasis on safety, customer satisfaction, and professionalism guides daily work on a designated service route. Orkin provides a company vehicle with a gas card on assignment, plus paid training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• No Experience Required – we'll train you to be a Pro!
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with our great customers inside their businesses and/or homes

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer's location
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
• Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
• Meet with customers to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services for peace of mind about pest management
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer's property and learn how we do it
• Communicate with customers to explain actions taken and discuss additional services
• Complete all required service-related documentation in a handheld device for speed and accuracy
