Job summary

EcoShield Pest Solutions is seeking an Additional Services Technician to perform termite treatments, mosquito control, insulation installation, exclusion work, and other pest management services. You will deliver hands-on service with a focus on safety and customer care, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient operations.

In this role you will follow service routes, explain plans to customers, maintain records, and help keep vehicles and equipment in good condition.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience and mechanical aptitude.
• Familiar with construction-related tasks and safe use of ladders and power tools.
• Must be 21+ and have 3+ years of driving history; a valid driver's license.
• State-required pest control licensing training provided.

Additional Services Technician

Position Summary: The Additional Services Technician provides specialized pest control and home protection services, including termite treatments, mosquito control, insulation installation, exclusion work, and other pest management solutions. This role combines hands-on service delivery with exceptional customer care, ensuring high-quality results, accurate documentation, and safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized pest control services, including termite control, mosquito treatments, insulation installation, exclusion work, and other additional service offerings.
• Complete initial indoor and outdoor pest control applications for new customers with a focus on quality, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by explaining treatment plans, service features, and benefits while addressing customer questions and concerns.
• Follow assigned service routes and schedules, coordinating effectively with office staff and management to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Maintain accurate and organized customer, service, and appointment records using company technology and systems.
• Inspect and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and personal protective gear to ensure safe and effective operations.
• Promote customer satisfaction by consistently delivering high-quality service and adhering to company standards and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 1+ years of customer service experience, demonstrated mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with construction-related tasks, including operating ladders and power tools safely and effectively.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have 3+ consecutive years of driving history, as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of the role.
• Earn and maintain state-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided).

Benefits

Base pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour plus additional compensation opportunities. Pay is weekly (every Friday). 10 company‑paid holidays, paid sick and vacation time.

Physical Demands and Working Requirements

• Capable of regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting.
• Requires clear vision for both close and distant tasks, with adjustable focus.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, perform physical tasks, and manage repetitive motions.
• Exposure to pesticides, chemicals, pests, mold, allergens, and structural hazards; safety gear required.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
