Join Our Team as a FPS - Personnel Security Assistant / Help Desk Support!

Protection Strategies, Inc.

Location: Springfield, VA

This position requires someone to be onsite up to 5 days per week.

Position Overview:

Review investigative forms for completeness, accuracy, and correct type of investigation needed. Follow up with requesting or investigating offices to fill gaps in needed information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receives telephone calls and responds to incoming e-mail messages on the "Customer Service" web address.
  • Ability to review e-QIP requests online and provide technical assistance to the applicant.
  • Prepares, submits, monitors, and updates computer tracking systems concerning appropriate case material.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three (3) years of directly related experience performing administrative support in personnel security functions.
  • Shall demonstrate proficiency in various types of information technology applications, such as Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Written and oral communication skills commensurate with the position.
