Planet Fitness - Excel Fitness in Lake Worth, TX seeks a Personal Training Manager to lead and grow the club''s personal training program. You will supervise trainers, manage schedules, and coach staff to deliver top‑tier member experiences.

This role blends leadership with hands‑on training, driving PT revenue while maintaining a high‑quality client load and ensuring policy compliance. A dynamic, growth‑oriented environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred; or related work experience may be considered.
• Active Personal Training Certification (NCCA-accredited) or Bachelor’s in exercise science/kinesiology.
• CPR/AED certification required; training available within first 30 days.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills; business acumen and results‑driven mindset.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal training, group fitness, or fitness leadership; management experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service; proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Familiar with Planet Fitness values and culture; ability to run small group sessions and stay organized.
• Ability to handle sensitive information; ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word, DataTrak, and related apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Personal Trainers at the assigned location and implement strategies to attract and retain members.
• Conduct regular team and one‑on‑one meetings to align with goals and metrics.
• Oversee personal training program delivery and trainer coverage; ensure high‑quality service.
• Hire, onboard, and train new PT staff; maintain active PT schedules to drive revenue.
• Coach staff through day‑one experience, systems training, and ongoing development.
• Collaborate with GM on PT performance concerns and coaching plans.
• Design member‑facing fitness programs that align with club vision and improve engagement.
• Track PT revenue, class attendance, and member satisfaction to monitor success.
