Life Time in Illinois is seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer to support members in achieving healthier, happier lives by building strong relationships and delivering educational, high-quality training experiences.

You will conduct fitness assessments, design personalized programs, ensure safety during sessions, promote services, and stay current with certifications and trends. This full-time role includes benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified personal Trainer.
• CPR and AED Certified.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention.
• Monitors and instructs clients during personal training sessions on safe and effective use of equipment.
• Reads, watches, and engages in required training associated with the role.
• Conducts fitness consultations including pre-participation screening, Medical History, Lifestyle questionnaire, and goal setting.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to all members to ensure safety, education, and motivation.
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services.
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan.
