Job summary

Palatine Park District in Palatine, IL is seeking an energetic Personal Trainer to design and deliver customized training sessions, guide clients toward wellness goals, and create a safe, engaging fitness environment.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, maintains CPR/First Aid and AED certifications, and possesses a current nationally accredited personal training certification. Seasonal pools and gym access are among the offered benefits.

Qualifications

• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification must be current.
• Current nationally accredited personal trainer certification required.

Personal Trainer

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent, associate degree preferred in exercise science or related field.
• Maintain current CPR, First Aid & AED certification.
• Maintain certification in personal training by a nationally accredited agency (e.g., NSAM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA).
