Responsibilities
- Providing a legendary member experience as a NYSC club ambassador by delivering excellent service and solutions to meet member and business needs.
- Adhering to all NYSC policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
- Utilizing fitness tools effectively.
- Maintaining client programs and assessment forms properly.
- Keeping certifications and continuing education current.
- Being punctual for all shifts.
- Creating SMART goal action plans to meet revenue, sales, and retention targets.
- Addressing member issues promptly and escalating as needed.
- Ensuring safety and maintenance of fitness equipment and floor standards.
- Completing administrative tasks such as scheduling and updating availability.
- Proficiency in POS, membership systems, and other required software.
- Partnering with Fitness Leaders and the Sales team to evaluate and meet member needs.
- Achieving and exceeding revenue, session, and sales goals.
- Engaging members, clients, and prospects through prospecting activities.
- Maintaining ongoing contact with clients outside of sessions.
- Delivering safe, effective, and documented fitness programs.
- Working with clients on personalized fitness plans to achieve their goals.
- Meeting monthly and quarterly production minimums.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Previous personal training experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Active Child & Adult AED/CPR certification.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform various physical activities.
- Good technical skills in fitness programming and time management.
- Active Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification from an approved organization (list provided).
Scheduling Requirements
- Open availability, including early, late, and weekend shifts.
- Weekly schedule includes training sessions, administrative duties, meetings, and fitness orientations.
