Purpose Of Job

We are looking for a Personal Teller to promote a positive, professional image of Financial Partners Credit Union via our Interactive Teller video channel. You will provide excellent service to all members by identifying product and service solutions to meet their financial needs. You will process a variety of cash and check transactions, assist members with account information, and resolve issues. Additionally, you will support Personal Teller Leadership with approvals and overrides.

Responsibilities

1. Process transactions accurately, including checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
2. Communicate effectively with members via video sessions, ensuring responses are clear and professional.
3. Identify member needs, present solutions, and promote products/services.
4. Validate member identities following security procedures.
5. Exercise good judgment in accepting negotiable items to minimize risk.
6. Meet or exceed the standard number of video sessions per hour while maintaining high service quality.
7. Balance transactions at each shift's end.
8. Follow all policies, procedures, and practices.
9. Attend training sessions as scheduled.
10. Achieve sales, referral, and service goals.
11. Maintain punctuality and adherence to schedules.
12. Assist team leads with daily operations and approvals.
13. Review teller sessions and daily reports to ensure compliance and efficiency.
14. Handle escalated member issues, including fee reversals and concerns.
15. Resolve member complaints satisfactorily.
16. Identify and recommend improvements within the department.

Education and Experience

1. Associate's Degree or equivalent; 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
2. Experience in retail, banking, or call center environments.
3. Ability to handle high transaction volumes in a fast-paced environment.
4. Comfortable and professional on camera.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
6. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Video Banking, and other software.
7. Previous banking or credit union experience is required.
8. Excellent member service skills.
