The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success!

Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure proper pricing, check product date codes, and stock shelves, displays, and cases. May prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards inside and outside the store as directed.
• Operate a cash register, process payments, make change, and handle refunds as approved.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies accurately.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English and interact effectively with the public and coworkers.
• Ability to understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, and memos.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
