The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product dates for proper rotation, stock shelves, displays, floor stacks, and refrigerated/freezer cases. May prepare perishable items for sale.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot.
• Operate cash register, handle payments, make change, and process refunds with management approval.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcohol.
• Assist customers courteously with product information and store knowledge.
• Load customer purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies accurately.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
